Our story begins with a small child wanting to change the world one horse at a time.  My Daughter's passion to save these wonderful creatures has lead our family to start a non profit organization to help see this dream become a reality, one horse at a time.   

Our purpose is to provide a safe and secure environment where horses can heal emotionally and physically.  Where they can transition to the next phase of their life – as a permanent resident here in SunnyLand or in another home. 

 Every horse needs a loving home. Few moments are more treasured than watching a  starved horse, now healthy and happy, sharing a new home with a loving family.   Our mission is to provide  a sanctuary to abused, neglected, abandoned or surrendered horses that come to us.  We work with law enforcement and other agencies in their efforts to rectify situations in which horses are in peril, and provide horses in our Sanctuary with needed medical care and proper nutrition.
